Kirklees Climate Commission is seeking a freelance worker or consultant to work for the Commission as part of the Energy Neighbours project.

The Commission is a partner in the Energy Neighbours project, which aims to support local community organisations to work together and act on energy issues.  Focused on areas experiencing fuel poverty, Energy Neighbours takes a community-led approach, building on the strengths and contacts of community organisations, listening to local priorities and making decisions together.  For more information about the project see: https://tslkirklees.org.uk/energy-neighbours/

The consultant will support Third Sector Leaders Kirklees, the lead partner, to demonstrate and evidence any impact on climate change - for example, whether the project has contributed to a reduction in carbon emissions by residents or community organisations.  The consultant will also share learning from Energy Neighbours with Kirklees Climate Commission networks and bring learning from our networks to Energy Neighbours.

The deadline for application is 28 May.  The total contract value is £18,000 and the project runs till Jan 2028.
