Kirklees Climate Commission currently has 22 Commissioners from across a wide variety of sectors, who volunteer a portion of their time to our work.
Recruitment of new Commissioners takes place as required - seven new Commissioners joined in early 2025.

The Commission has two key partners, providing vital support to the Commission.
Kirklees Council provides administrative support, organising Commission meetings and communication.
The University of Huddersfield provides space for meetings, an office base and acess to library and information services.
